The base consists of the mounting block made of high quality CNC milled plastic where the bracket slides in. With the help of the spring-loaded locking pin, it is secured completely free of play. The support is made of solid seawater-resistant stainless steel combined with high-quality industrial components. The plastic base block can be fixed directly to the boat by means of bolts or screws or on a bracket for boats with a rail system. The bracket is equipped with 2 lateral angle adjustments so that the tube on which the transducer is mounted can be perfectly aligned in all conditions. The lateral angle adjustment also has a safety function, if there is too much pressure on the system it will slip, pushing the transducer out of the water. The 1.2 meter long tube where the transducer is mounted by means of the supplied adapter is made of thick-walled carbon. The use of carbon has several advantages, it is light with high rigidity but still somewhat resilient so that the system is not overloaded while sailing in folded position. The tube can be locked in horizontal or vertical position with the spring-loaded locking pin so that the transducer can be taken in or out of the water quickly. There is an adjustment ring on the tube so that the transducer can be adjusted to the desired depth. The pressure on the clamping bush for rotating the transducer is adjustable with a star knob. The transducer can be rotated by the folding handle. The handle can be fixed at any height by means of the star knob with integrated blinker. The beautiful carbon handle can be folded into several positions. This is very handy for example for storage or ease of operation while standing fishing.
